connecting urban biodiversity
Strategies for citizen science
Second Nature is advising the design and analysis of Together Bay Area's Connecting Urban Biodiversity project. This project is building links between the Bay Area's conservation efforts in the uplands and the biodiversity of our urban areas. SN scientists helped select wildlife for the first ever Bay Area Urban Species Search, and are assisting with interpretation of these new data. The project is funded by the California State Coastal Conservancy and conducted in collaboration with California Academy of Sciences.
